He holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 1998. He is now a teacher and researcher at the UBA. He has been working in the National Judiciary of Argentina since 1993, and as Secretary of Justice in the Federal Criminal Jurisdiction since 2001. He is a member of Intercambios Civil Association. He also is a member of Drugs and Law Study Group (CEDD).
He has published works on drug policy, such as: ¨Disproportionate Systems. Disproportion and Economic, Institutional and Human Costs of Drug Policy in Argentina¨ (Intercambios/UBA, 2012) and ¨Imprisonment for drug-related offenses in Argentina¨ (Intercambios 2011).
He has also participated in the project “Legislation on Drugs in the Americas” (LEDA) of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission of the Organization of American States (CICAD/OAS).
